Would You Rather Book Tag

It has been a long time since I last did a blogger or book tag so when I found this tag in Aria blog, I decided to do it because it’s fun and easy to write. #lazybloggeralert #docheckoutAriasblogeveryone

1. Read-only trilogies or stand-alone?
If the book is good, the longer the series the better but for some genre like romance or contemporary, stand-alone is way better.

2. Read-only female or male authors?
This question is so wrong on so many levels. I don’t like to discriminate an author by their gender. As long as their book is good I would totally pick it up.

3. Shop at Barnes & Nobles or Amazon?
If I don’t follow some popular bookstagrammers from the United States, I wouldn’t know that Barnes & Nobles exist. For a Malaysian, the popular bookstores here are Kinokuniya, MPH and Popular (lol, the one who named this book store has sense). But since I live in Japan, Amazon has become a part of my daily life because of their amazing delivery system well, more like Japan in general. Plus, I’m a Prime member which means I can enjoy free shipping on certain items and has exclusive deals on Prime Day. #foreverAmazonfangirl

4. All books become movies or TV shows?
TV shows, please. I would love to see Harry Potter be adapted towards TV shows with multiple seasons because so many details are lost and had to be cut in the movie adaptation. #stillbitterforDobbyscharacterdevelopmentinthemovies

5. Read 5 pages per day or 5 books per week?
I once read 7 books per day so yeah… It was on holiday and the Kindle basically glued in my hand. I didn’t stop reading even when I’m eating and went to the toilet.

6. Be a professional reviewer or author?
Author hands down. Becoming a published writer and one day has always been my dream and I have been working on my novels like forever. I dislike doing reviews because I would feel bad to the authors when I ended up not liking their book.

7. Only read your top 20 favourite books over and over again or always read new ones that you haven’t read before?
After writing monthly reads, I realised that I re-read a lot. For example, I have read Ze Tian Ji for like more than 20 more times this year. #isthiswhatbookhangoverfeelslike

8. Be a librarian or bookseller?
Hands down librarian. If I become a bookseller I would go bankrupt because I don’t want to part with my babies books. I had a stellar record for being a school librarian from elementary school till high school. #thatdedicationtho #nerdandproud

In a good bookroom you feel in some mysterious way that you are absorbing the wisdom contained in all the books through your skin, without even opening them.

9. Only read your favourite genre or every genre except your favourite?
I read almost every genre except for thriller and horror because

Is there someone behind me? #neverlookbehindwhenyouarealone

10. Only read physical books or e-books?
Why not both. But living far away from home I prefer Kindle more. It’s so convenient and light means I could bring it anywhere. #couldntbelievethattherearepeoplewhojudgee-readersfornotbeingarealreader #its2017dude

  1. Me too. Doesnt matter either the author is female or male. No discrimination as long as it’s a good book, I would love to read it. 🙂
