If you’re new readers to my blog, welcome! You will soon know that the owner of this blog (read:#AwesomeMe) is lazy to the core and love to procrastinate and that’s why you would see me disappear and then appear again in the blog sphere like magic. If you’re frequent visitors, thank you for using your sweet time to read, pressing a like or maybe leave a comment.
So hey, hello everyone and Happy New Year! This is my first time being away from the blog for more than a month and it’s sad to say that my already low traffic stats plummeted like crazy. 😂 I have my reasons you know. Recently, I finished writing my long-filled with I don’t know what I’m writing about graduation thesis #applause, went to Seoul for a week and got a cold afterwards. As you can see, I’m very busy.
NOVEMBER MONTHLY READS
Anyway, in November, I found myself fallen deeply in love with Chinese novels to the point that I wish I could read and understand Mandarin. I could read some of the Kanji but to put the words together nah.
WEB NOVEL |
- Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of A Military Lineage by Qin Shan Cha Ke ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
I love Shen Miao. #AllHailEmpress
- The Princess Wei Yang by Qin Jian ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
If you’re a fan of Chinese drama, you would know that there is a drama version of this novel that is totally different from the original novel. Since I watch and read both the drama adaptation and the novel, I’m so disappointed that the Wei Yang in the drama turned into another cookie cutter of a damsel in distress.
- Chongfei Manual by 风荷游月 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Not my cup of tea. This is me being generous.
DECEMBER MONTHLY READS
December is what I would call a month filled with mysteries, bones, blood and anything gory related. Reading detailed descriptions of autopsy make me realise that I made a brilliant choice of not pursuing a degree in forensic influenced from watching too much CSI drama series.
WEB NOVEL |
- Poison Genius Consort by Jie Mo ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
- The Tang Dynasty’s Female Forensic Doctor by 袖唐 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
- Bone Painting Coroner by Li Duo Wu ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
NOVEL |
- Kusuriya No Hitorigoto by Natsu Hyuuga ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
I actually found the manga version of Kusuriya No Hitorigoto first and decided to buy the novel on Amazon on the very next day because the book is so good that I’m dying to know the ending. I have a bad habit of reading the last page first because I just couldn’t stand not knowing the book ending. Anyone else has the same problem?

Kalau aina, aina tak suka tengok ending. hilang perasaan excited tu nanti dia mood nak layan tu semua ke laut. Kalau siapa bagi spoiler memang menangis tak nak dengar. huhuks.
I’m actually on the minority side who loves spoilers lol. Hahhaa. comelnya.
Rajin betul membaca! Idola nyaa.
Biasalah 😏😏😏. hahahaha
