My Weekend & More Cherry Blossoms To Bless Your Eyes

Hi everyone! Today post is just a light post where I ramble on my weekend and put tons of more cherry blossoms photos to bless your eyes and brighten your day.

If I were, to sum up, my weekend, it would be

Saturday – cold, raining, depressing

Sunday– Sun shining brightly, cherry blossoms, refreshing

I rarely spent my weekend outside as free time is precious for me especially when I’m busy working for 9-6 from Monday to Sunday and having the time to rest, lying in bed dilly-dallying and not having to rush to make lunch and eat breakfast before going to work for hours are relaxing.

I have to be alone very often. I’d be quite happy if I spent from Saturday night until Monday morning alone in my apartment. That’s how I refuel.

But the weather looks so good this morning compared to the weather yesterday which is raining and cold.

Bright sun. Check. Blue sky. Check. Fresh air. Check.

So I went outside, took my phone camera (to take photos to commemorate me going outside LOL) and look at what I found, beautifully bloom pink cherry blossoms.

There is much to be said for cherry blossoms, but they seem so flighty. They are so quick to run off and leave you. And then just when your regrets are the strongest the wisteria comes into bloom, and it blooms on into the summer. There is nothing quite like it. Even the color is somehow companionable and inviting.

How was everyone’s weekend? Do you guys spend it by chilling at home or going somewhere fun?

  1. I feel like my natural instinct is to just stay inside on the weekends, but whenever the weather is nice I force myself to go outside… and I never regret it. Nature is so beautiful & I’m always happy with what I find! There are some white cherry blossoms where I live in California, but I would love to travel to Japan and see the pink ones in full bloom for myself. 🙂

Thank you for the beautiful photos & good luck with work!

    1. I rarely go out in weekend lol but the cherry blossoms are in full bloom and I know that I’d regret it if I don’t see them in person.

Come come! There is a shibazakura type of sakura that would bloom in early May. Still not late to book a flight ticket *wink*
